The most important and most famous buildings of the Loire Valley are for sure the castles of Chambord, Blois, Ambois and Chenonceau. Since the year 2000 the Loire Valley with its beautiful castles were included on the World Heritage list. Orleans, our starting point, is only one hour from Paris!

Because of the Loire Valleys' beauty the French aristocracy began to build superb castles along the river during the 16 century. In 2000, the ensemble of the chateaux of the Loire by UNESCO was declared a World Heritage Site.
In 2012 I moved to France. The city is Orleans which is 100 km
south of Paris! I was delighted by all of these beautiful castles with
their magnificent gardens and parks along the Loire Valley.
Nowhere in Europe can you find so many lovely castles like here!
It doesn't matter if you like to see medieval or superb Renaissance castles.
It represent all kind of architecture styles. Out of this passion for these
chateaux and their histories we have developed the website MTours.
The city Orleans
Welcome to Orleans
Oui Orleans! Joan of Arc is the symbol of Orléans! Because of her victories the "Hundred Years' War" was successfully ended for the city Orleans and France. During centuries many buildings of Orléans were destroyed, but the history is still omnipresent: churches, elegant houses and ancient residences are an indication of the significant role of Orleanais in the past.
2019: 500 years of Renaissance
Leonardo Da Vinci died 500 years ago in the town of Amboise
and left behind a huge and varied work.
Now, half a century later, the Loire Valley and the Sologne are
celebrating the great efforts of the Florentine Master.
Come and visit with us the castles in the jubilee of the Renaissance.
